I do not know if we should have a world without phones and computers or even paper for that. People had to get very creative to send messages a long time ago. They communicated with one another using signs, drawings, and symbols. In fact, they developed some of the first writing, using stones and pottery. In this fashion, they could exchange vital information with their family and friends. Gradually, they learned to write in paper, this was a huge progress! They were able to send letters by mail, but there was a long delivery time for these letters. Q: They say in the “Good old days” it took forever to get a letter delivered to someone right down the street.
Before long people learned how to communicate better and better. One of the most significant changes was the invention of the telephone. The invention of the telephone revolutionized how we communicate with one another. With a telephone, we were able to reach out to distant friends and family and listen to their voices. It was like magic! Well, then technology got better and we had cell phones. Now we could fit our communications devices in our pockets and take them with us when we traveled anywhere. It made it easier than ever to be in touch with the people we love.
Now we communicate through smartphones, tablets, and computers. Now, these incredible gadgets are used to text, speak to people on the phone, and even video chat with others. You can see and hear them, even if they are on the other side of the world! We can speak with our friends as if they were in the same room with us, even if they are thousands of miles away. This has made us feel like the world is smaller and more connected.
They also allow us to keep in touch with our friends and family over social networking websites such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. These platforms are lively and fun, it allows us to post the photos, videos, and messages to anyone we love, despite of wherever they are in the world. We can stay on top of what’s going on for them, and share our own news too. This is a lovely way to connect with the people you love, even when you’re not able to be with them in person.
Technology is also very common in the workplace. Most work from different locations, and technology bridges the gap. We have Zoom or Facetime calls with co-workers who are still working from a distance. That means we can look each other in the eye and discuss our work on the screen. And we did, we can share documents, presentation, and ideas online and work together in real time, it makes it really easy. Tools like Slack and Microsoft Teams allow us to shoot messages off quickly and stay organized. Then we can talk about things more clearly and not have everyone confused and trying to assume what is what.
The internet and social media have opened up new methods of communication. Several people and businesses can also use live streaming, podcasts and webinars to make them sharing their ideas and stories with the world in more fun and creative ways. On these platforms, we can connect with a larger audience and go beyond the borders of our world. Just imagine all the new ways that we can share information with each other today!
Smart devices are designed to assist us with our daily chores. Smartwatches and home assistants like Alexa and Google Home to are now widely used as communication devices. But with these gadgets, we can use our voice to not only call, text but even control smart home appliances. And that each has made it so easy to control, yes, our homes and to connect with other people and not have to be using our hands all of the time.
